PUERTO RICO, June 2022
GIVING TO CHILDREN AT SCHOOL FOR THE DEAF
Deaf children have only one place to learn on the island.
The Situation – June 2022
After hurricane Maria devastated Puerto Rico in 2017, the school worked hard to keep living conditions steady and rebuild the school to re-house and re-school the children.
Positive Outcome
Through G2 GIVE GLOBAL, we were able to bring more than 50 pounds of school supplies, balls for playing sports, backpacks, and arts-and-crafts projects. We were privileged to help these children get the supplies they need to excel in the classroom after recovering from such a tragic natural disaster.
We traveled 1,328 miles to Luquillo, Puerto Rico to donate these supplies to the children to make sure they can learn to their fullest potential. We received an incredible tour of the property from Betsy, the head of the school.
