Educational Impact in Cuba

The Situation - January 2024

Cuba is undergoing a deep economic crisis that has profoundly impacted the quality of life and education within Havana. Children lack not only adequate school supplies to power their education, but often basic necessities. 

The Positive Outcome   

After reaching out to a Havana church ministry, G2 GIVE GLOBAL delivered 60 pounds of school supplies and sports equipment to 22 young children.  Each child received a backpack with notebooks, colored pencils, pencils, crayons, journals, erasers, and pencil sharpeners.  We also brought soccer balls, basketballs, baseballs, playground balls, and footballs for the students.

After playing many fun-filled soccer scrimmages with the children, a G2 GIVE GLOBAL volunteer talked about the importance of education and charitable efforts. After handing out the supplies, the G2 volunteers continued to play various sports with the kids.
