YUCATAN PENINSULA, MEXICO, July 2022
AIDING SCHOOL CHILDREN AND ORPHANS
The Yucatan peninsula is one of the fastest growing population regions in Mexico. Sadly, the area is cartel controlled to the detriment of the hard-working people of Mexico.
The Situation - July 2022
The children of a nearby school were in need of school supplies and book bags for the upcoming school year. The local food bank needed volunteers to help a neighborhood with approximately 85 children. Lastly, we connected with a local all-girls orphanage in need of rice, beans, oil and protein.
Positive Outcome
For the nearby school, G2 GIVE GLOBAL delivered 25 bookbags to the children and attended a church service with them.
At the local food bank, six members of G2 GIVE GLOBAL volunteered for four hours serving food and playing games with the children. While visiting the orphanage, we donated a total of 100 lbs. worth of food, including rice beans, oil, and protein.
G2 GIVE GLOBAL volunteers also played soccer and led arts-and-crafts projects with the girls in the orphanage.
